I was really excited for this pen at first. However, after loading it up with Platinum Carbon Black fountain pen ink, I found that ink was spilling all over the interior of the pen (a nightmare having black ink stains all over the interior of a demonstrator). There is some sort of flaw in the spot where the converter meets the nib unit, which causes a pressurized hiss of ink to froth out from the seams when you empty the converter by twisting. A gasket snapped in half when I opened the pen up, something that's never happened to me before--a sign, I suspect, of low build quality.
Along with these issues, the feed that the nib rests on is extremely thick (presumably to keep up with the demands of a G Nib). This affects the angle from which you write/draw, as if you hold the pen at an acute angle, the feed can drag across the paper and mark up the page with ink.
Disappointed with this product. I unfortunately did not realize the issues with this pen until after the return policy's limits. IF the build quality didn't work, I'd say this is a 3.5 or 4 star pen for the utility of being able to fit a g nib, but with the build quality issues I would not recommend it to anyone unless mine is simply a dud.
