When the nib first arrived it would not write at all. After some careful criss-crossing of the tines I have it to where it writes consistently. The width of the strokes is now as hoped, but the flow is still not sufficient. Writing with Pelikan 4001 Blue Black is a pale, translucent blue. I will probably get it worked out eventually, but a new nib should not take this much effort to get it to a base level of operation.
I had high hopes for the nib. Most of the architect nibs I have found are A BB, and have thick lines that don’t work well with my smallish handwriting. An A B seemed like just the ticket.
