The 1.4 Jowo is one of my favorite nibs; it is a perfect size for everyday writing and makes your plain cursive look like calligraphy.
The ability to use India inks (which can dry out and destroy regular fountain pens) is amazing for artists. India ink is permanent and perfect for the deep blacks before washing over with watercolors or even fountain pen ink.
However, if you live in the desert, this pen is a must-own as an everyday carry pen. Most pens dry out even when kept in a purse or briefcase. This pen has a tiny water supply that keeps the nib wet. Thus, the Indigraph starts up every time.
The design is not perfect: The pen doesn't post (and it looks like it should); The clip is not on the cap where the water goes; and the pen is difficult to open correctly with one hand. BUT the pen is so useful that I now carry it with me in my wallet.
